Oil painting on canvas steeped in metaphors towards the state of the planet caused by climate change, and species decline caused by humans. The piece compares items we treasure and typically categorise as valuable, such as gold, jewellery and other expensive items, to nature.  It suggests that we should view nature similarly, valuing it more – it’s the key for the survival of the future. If we don’t, there will eventually be nothing left for future generations. Nature is just as precious as our coveted and sought after items, and shouldn’t be taken for granted. “Handle With Care” glorifies the world around us by using vivid colour and juxtaposing serendipitous subjects, displaying what we have before we potentially destroy it.
